Spacely AI has been honored with two national design awards in Thailand. We took first place in the DEmark 2026 — Design Excellence Award, in the System Service & Digital Platform category. And we've been nominated for the Prime Minister's Export Award — Best Design, the highest commercial design honor a Thai company can receive.
We're proud. But we want to be precise about something before anything else: we didn't win this. You did.
If you're reading this from one of the 50+ countries our users design in, there's a good chance you've never heard of DEmark — so let's start there.
DEmark, the Design Excellence Award, is organized by Thailand's Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) in cooperation with the Japan Institute of Design Promotion — the same body behind Japan's G-Mark, one of the most respected design marks in the world. It's widely described as the Oscars of Thai design, and it isn't handed out lightly.
This year's judging panel included design experts from the international design world — names from the level of Red Dot, iF Design Award, and the German Design Award. To win, an entry has to score 80% or higher across five dimensions: Design Story, Innovative Thinking, Aesthetics, User Value, and Sustainable Value. Most entrants don't pass. It isn't a participation award.
The Prime Minister's Export Award — Best Design sits a tier above. It's government recognition, with a single nominee per category, given to the Thai design judged to have the highest commercial potential on the global stage.
Here's the part that matters most to us: the people evaluating Spacely AI weren't generic tech judges. They were architects, interior designers, and design professionals — people who do exactly what you do. They looked at our work the way you would. And they chose us.
Every render created on Spacely AI is a data point that made the product sharper. Every piece of feedback — the frustrated ones especially — shaped what we built next. Designers across 50+ countries trusted us with the things that actually matter: their client pitches, their presentations, the work their livelihood depends on.
That trust is what we submitted to the judges. Not a feature list. The relationship.
So this award belongs to every designer who chose Spacely AI when they didn't have to — when there were other options, when it would have been easier to outsource the render or fight through a tool that couldn't handle a simple revision. You chose us, and then you told us how to be better. This is yours.
We're sharing the process because it's what makes the recognition feel earned.
DEmark runs in two rounds. The first is a document and concept screening — the design story, the thinking behind the product, the evidence of user value. Pass that, and you advance to a live presentation in front of a physical judging panel.
What stays with us is the company we kept in that room. Spacely AI was evaluated alongside furniture, packaging, interior design, and fashion — products you can hold in your hands. A digital platform standing next to physical design and earning the same recognition, under the same standard, is the signal we actually care about. Spatial design software, judged as design.
The award validates where we've been. Here's a look at where we're going.
These are the next steps in the same direction the judges recognized: helping you communicate your work at the level it deserves.
The design industry doesn't always reward the best design. It rewards the best-presented design. Teams with the time and budget to produce polished visuals early walk into pitches with a different kind of confidence — more time spent designing, less time spent catching up on production.
That's the gap Spacely AI exists to close.
When you can communicate your idea at the level it actually deserves, the best design gets seen, gets chosen, and gets built. The playing field flattens. The idea competes, not the budget.
This award tells us the jury sees that gap too — and that we're closing it. One designer at a time, at scale.
Thank you. To every designer, architect, agent, and space owner who has rendered, revised, sent us feedback, or kept choosing us day after day — you built this.
This recognition belongs to all of you, and we'll keep earning it.
With love from Bangkok to the World,
The Spacely AI team
